WHISTLER TRIP | Village

V posledním cestovatelském článku tady jsem vás vzala s sebou na Sea to Sky Gondolu, která je na cestě do Whistleru. Odtud už to bylo jenom hodinku do slavné horské vesničky a my měly hrozný hlad. Na doporučení kamarádů jsme se najedly v bistru Green Mustache, který nám vychválily až do nebes. Já si tohle ultra-super-zdravé jídlo hrozně ráda dávám, když jdeme jíst někam ven, doma si to tak pěkně nepřipravím (lenost level profesionál), tak jsem se na to těšila, ale nadšená jsem nakonec vůbec nebyla. Ani mejma, obsluha byla všechno jenom ne příjemná, jídlo nebylo nic moc ochucené, akorát jahodové Einstein smoothie a kokosové raw tyčinky byly výborné! 

In the last travel post I took you with me to the Sea to Sky Gondola adventure that is on the way up to Whistler. From here it is only about an hour drive to the village. By the time we arrived we were so hungry we went to the Green Mustache right away, my friend recommended me this place that it is supposed to be amazing but I was not impressed. I love having this super-mega-healthy food when I go out because I won't make this for myself at home (lazy much?) so I was excited for this neither was my mom. The staff was everything but nice, the food was not flavored well, only the strawberry Einstein smoothie and the coconut bliss balls were so good!

Po obědě jsme si prošly vesničku, která jako by z oka vypadla těm Alpským v Evropě až na to, že jenom pár desítek let stará. V zimě to bude mít jó jinačí kouzlo, tomu věřím, ale vidět to i v létě stojí za to! Kdo jste byl v Alpách, tak byste taky řekli, že Whistler je víceméně to samé, jenom tady nemají řízek, poctivé bombardino a dobré pivo. 

After lunch we were strolling around the village which looks exactly like the ones in the Alps in Europe only this one is only couple decades old. I believe it has a totally different vibe in the winter but it has its charm in the summer too so it is worth to see it for sure! Those who have been to Alps before, you would probably agree with me that Whistler is more or less the same thing only it misses the schnitzel, proper bombardino and good beer.

Probíhal tam yoga festival, takže všude chodili lidi v lod hlavě k patě oblečení v Lululemon (místní značka specializující se na sportovní oblečení se zaměřením na jógu) a s podložkama na ramenou. Panovala tam klidná atmosféra a zbytek odpoledne jsme pak strávily u jezera. Večer jsme si daly tacos, na které jsme sice hrozně dlouho čekaly, ale vynahradily nám to tím, jak moc byly dobrý. Tacos for life, říkám to pořád.

At that time there was a yoga festival going on so there were people wearing all Lululemon clothes everywhere and carrying their mats on their backs. The whole place has such a chill atmosphere and we spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping by the lake, we were so tired :D Before we head back down we had tacos for dinner. We waited so long for them but they were so worth it. Tacos for life, that's what I always say.

I could eat this all day every day. Pulled beef or pork is the best thing ever!
