1990s BABES

Nejsem člověk, co by podléhal módním trendům až přespříliš, z každého si vezmu nějaký prvek, který je mi sympatický, dobře se mi nosí a jednoduše se mi kombinuje. Plus v dnešní době se nosí tak nějak všechno dohromady, maximálně je na vrcholu jeden mainstream trend. Ten minulý velký trend 70. let mě minul obloukem, z nějakého důvodu mi celkový styl není úplně sympatický. Co jsem ale nečekala je, že vlna devadesátek mě takhle vezme. Na druhou stranu jsem dítě téhle doby, možná poslední generace, co si pamatuje to krásné iVynálezy nerušené dětství. Dlouhé hovory na pevných linkách, vytáčecí internet, Windows 96, žádné chytré telefony, my měli Tamagotchi, nahrávali jsme na VHS kazety a Pokemony vyměňovali na kartičkách. Neberte mě špatně, nemůžu se dočkat, až budu mít Pokemon Go v telefonu :D 

I'm not really that into fashion trends that will come and go so fast, I like to take only bits and pieces from them and integrate them into my personal style (which can sometimes be a black everything but hey, no judging right?). The perfect piece is the one that I can easily combine with the rest of my closet and I will feel comfortable in it. Plus the fashion today is more or less about people wearing whatever they want and there is usually one ore two mainstream trends that have their five minutes on top before something else takes their place. I completely skipped the 1970s hippie fever, not a fan, but the comeback of 1990s I welcome with open arms even though I would never have expected that from myself. On the other hand, I'm the nineties child and I might be the last generation to remember dialing Internet, endless calls on landline at home, Tamagotchi, VHS tapes and Pokemons on plastic cards. 

Něco bych ale raději měla tak, jak to bylo předtím. Alespoň máme zpátky kalhoty s vysokým pasem, bílé tenisky nás jen tak neopustí, oversized trička po rodičích jsou největší poklad, off shoulder topy, velké látkové gumičky do vlasů, slip on šaty a obyčejné bílé tričko se dá koupit všude. Dřív to taková sranda nebyla. Za mě spokojenost, sice nekopíruji outfity do detailu, každý by si to měl upravit podle sebe, ale celkově se v tom cítím příjemně a svá. Co vás na tomhle trendu baví nejvíc?

At least we got back the high waisted jeans, white sneakers are still rolling, oversized T-shirts from our parents, off shoulder tops, scrunchies, slip on dresses and plain white T-shirts everywhere and those chokers. I have to say I'm more than happy with all of that. What do you like the best about this trend?
