The Blonde Waffle: SUNDAY NATURE TRIP

O víkendu jsem tu měla návštěvu ze San Francisca, takže v sobotu po práci jsme šli hezky pěkně na sushi, protože to je ve Vancouveru jednozačně must-eat! Po propršené sobotě se sluníčko smilovalo a v neděli z toho byl nádherný den, tak se hned jelo na výlet směr sever, konkrétně Whistler. Po cestě jsme udělali dvě zastávky a to konkrétně na Shannon Waterfalls a ještě u jednoho jezera, na jehož jméno si nevzpomenu, ani kdybyste mě na nože brali. Pak jsme si projeli Whistler a vše zakončili na olympijské biatlonské dráze, kde to teda upřímně nevypadalo vůbec nic moc. Spíš nic než moc. Všude byly značky s varováním o medvědech, kterých je okolo Whistleru spousta. Méďa se nakonec žádný neukázal, což si myslím, že je i dobře :D

On the weekend I had visitors from San Francisco here so after I finished at work on Saturday we went to have sushi which is a must-eat when in Vancouver! After gloomy rainy Saturday the sun decided to show us some mercy and the Sunday turned out to be such a beautiful day therefore we headed for a road trip up north to Whistler. We made couple stops along the way, more specifically we saw Shannon Waterfalls and a lake which was amazing but I can't remember the name at all. Then we drove through the Whistler Village and ended the tour at the Olympic biathlon trail which I personally think is not worth the drive. There is nothing to see. There was a lot of sign with bear warning but luckily we didn't see any of those babies which I consider a good thing :D
